The exhibition showcases the work of local established and emerging creatives from Rochester and the surrounding district.
The exhibition, which is supported by the Rotary Club of Rochester, celebrates the diversity of the arts in a variety of mediums, and includes both two-dimensional and three-dimensional work, and also photography and textiles.
When the inaugural exhibition was held in 2018, the curators and organisers said they were amazed at the talent and creativity of the local artists who contributed their artworks, and were pleased at the positive reception from the community.
The decision was made to run the event annually.
This year’s exhibition works will also be online on the Rotary Club of Rochester website at www.rochesterrotary.org.au
The organisers are also planning to have a people’s choice, voted on by visitors, for the most popular work in the exhibition this year, with a prize for the winning artist.
The event will also host a number of creative workshops for both adults and children over the course of the exhibition.
Creative Seeds will run at the Rochester Heritage Courthouse from Friday, November 19 until Sunday, November 28.
