Tied in with the Kyabram RV Country Music Festival, the spring market encourages residents and visitors to shop locally in the lead-up to Christmas.
The Kyabram Chamber of Commerce president Deanne Stagg said there was always plenty on offer at the market.
“In 2024, we changed up the kids’ activities with more family fun,” Deanne said.
“Quite a few different and varied outside traders come into town for the day.
“The service organisations set up down the street so people can get information from them, as well.
“There is a community element, there are the local traders and many food choices from different businesses.
“There is everything, for all ages, all walks of life.”
The market offers voucher giveaways from participating businesses for the weekend, which the Kyabram Chamber of Commerce will confirm closer to the date.
A highlight of every year is the Kyabram traders’ sidewalk sales, which in some years continue all day Friday and into Saturday morning.
Deanne is hoping for good weather, which will always add to the event’s success.
“It is a good day with all the people in town it adds to the atmosphere and that is a big part of having the spring market,” she said.
“I don’t think there are many other things like the spring market around, where the street is closed and there is a market, that in itself makes it a draw card.”
The market will be full of general and community-based stallholders selling an eclectic mix of products, such as honey, arts and crafts, plants, homewares, jewellery, and handmade body and bath products.
Buskers bring the sounds of the Kyabram RV Country Music Festival to the street.
A bus runs all day between the Kyabram RV Country Music Festival and the spring market to help bring visitors to the main street.
Along with the Kyabram Spring Market, Kyabram Uniting Church holds an exhibition and sale of Cam Tomfon’s photographs yearly, with proceeds going back to the church.
The exhibition is in the Uniting Church Hall on the corner of Unitt and Union St, Kyabram.
Kyabram Spring Market will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 along Allan St between Albion and Church Sts during the day.
