Golfers come from all over Australia to have an opportunity to ply their trade on one of the lushest courses in regional Victoria.
Into its 18th year of hosting the championships, Parkland will hold the Men’s 54-hole event on the long weekend in June, while the Women’s 36-hole event will continue to be played on the first weekend of the same month.
Along with the championship format, a stableford option is available for all.
The event offers over $3000 worth of prizes for teams, singles, juniors, and seniors, and nearest-the-pins competitions.
Keen golfers will be excited to know that the event is a State Order of Merit Event, with Susie Tolhurst, Ivo Whitton, junior and senior points allocated for competitive golfers.
Kyabram Club is the major sponsor of the event, which greatly benefits the town and accommodation in the area.
Kyabram Parkland Golf Club is a great asset to the community.
Membership is growing rapidly, and several open events are held throughout the year.
The autumn and spring tournaments and the recent Business and Community Day give all golfers the chance to play on a great course with great prizes.
Kyabram Parkland Golf Club now boasts two great function rooms for the community to enjoy, holding weddings, parties and wakes throughout the year.
Kyabram Parkland Golf Club is uniquely Par 3 and a challenge for all golfers.
Entries for the Victorian Par 3 Golf Championships open in early February, and you can follow the progress at www.kyabramparklandgc.com.au or the Kyabram Parkland Golf Club Facebook page.
