Jaci Hicken

Jaci is from Mirboo North in Gippsland and began writing for McPherson Media Group remotely at the end of 2022. After a varying career from broadcast engineer to chef and small business owner, Jaci completed a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from RMIT University in 2021, following on from a Bachelor of Business and Commerce at Monash University, majoring in marketing. When not behind her desk, telling stories of local businesses and community events, Jaci is either in the garden growing food to eat or in the kitchen whipping up a memorable cake, preserving her bounty or teaching others.
