The event, previously hosted in Seymour for several years, saw strong representation from 14 local competitors across various categories, including baking, needlework and craft.
Junior competitor James Oakley secured a win with his carrot and sultana muffins, earning him a place in the state final to be held in Bendigo in July.
Hunter Friedrich's winning Junior Photography entry will represent the group at the Melbourne Royal Show in September.
The group competitions also saw Jimmy Furletti win first place for hand beading, Jenny MacKintosh achieve first place for her crochet toy and Jack Sherwood take second place in the Junior Decorated Teddy Bear Biscuit category.
Rob Hayes claimed second place in the state competitions for his fleece entry, while Pam Beerens secured second place in knitting.
Jenny MacKintosh was awarded first prize for her crochet toy.
This year, the Seymour Show has put together a special early edition of the show schedule, which contains the classes for the needlework and craft section only.
Other classes will go into the Seymour Show schedule later in the year.
Held annually in October, the show will offer winners from various classes the opportunity to progress to group and state level competitions.
