Colbinabbin Preschool has achieved top honours after they were rated as an Exceeding Service under the National Quality Framework.

The rating highlights the high quality of the schools early childhood education and care.
Colbinabbin Preschool teacher Cindy Smith said that the schools approach is child-led.
“The program is child-led, with a strong focus on nature play and sustainability,” she said.
“Educators practice a slow pedagogy, in which we are attentive to each child's rhythm, pace and interests.
“We... create opportunities for children to deep dive into their own learning, using natural resources and found objects whenever possible.”
Colbinabbin Preschool is a part of the Goulbourn Region Preschool Association (GRPSA) which serves 17 early childhood services across Moira, Strathbogie, Greater Shepparton and the Campaspe.
GRPSA Early Childhood Manager Corina McLeod said the organisation are very proud of the preschool’s achievement.
“We are very proud of our Colbinabbin team whose dedication and commitment to high quality education and care for the children of Colbinabbin,” she said
“Their bush kinder program and connection to the local community is outstanding.”
