Awards are given out in each of the communities, and Coly’s nominations close at 5pm Tuesday, January 7.
The awards will be presented at the Australia Day celebrations to be held at the Coleambally Community Hall on Australia Day.
Coly award categories are:
• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year (21 years and under as at December 31 the preceding year)
• Senior Sportsperson of the Year (17 years and over as at December 31 the preceding year)
• Junior Sportsperson of the Year (13-16 years as at December 31 the preceding year)
• Sub-junior Sportsperson of the Year (12 years and under as at December 31 the preceding year)
• Sporting Team of the Year Event of the Year
• Cultural Award of the Year

Everyone is welcome to the all day and late night shopping day on Wednesday.
There will be three $250 vouchers drawn on the evening, from the Shop Local entries.
Local producers and makers will also have stalls at the event and everyone is urged to come along.

Christmas Eve - 6pm Christmas Eucharist at St Paul's Darlington Point with Bishop Donald Kirk (Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Riverina); 7pm service at Coleambally Uniting Church; 9pm Christmas Eucharist at St Mark's Coleambally with Bishop Donald Kirk.

Police will be out in force over the festive period to keep us safe, and help us to be safer.
The double demerits period starts this Friday and runs through to 11.59pm on New Year’s Day.
