At Lancaster Primary School, the Thursday, August 22 roll call looked a little different than usual.
From Wallys, Willys and Wednesdays, to fairies, unicorns and princesses — Lancaster Primary was a library of books come to life.
The characters enjoyed a parade, showing off their costumes in front of families members and teaching staff, before a dance party kicked off.
For a moment in time, it was the only place in the world where you could see Harry Potter dancing with a minion.
