GVYP Barefoot Bowls
Put your best foot forward and connect with new people at the GV Young Professionals barefoot bowls night. It’s the perfect low-key event to have a game of bowls, with a barbecue dinner supplied and catered for by the Shepparton Bowls Club, and drinks at bar prices.

Big Land, Wide Country
A treat for live music lovers, Big Land, Wide Country features Simon Marks and his band performing new works inspired by his Artist in Residence stint on a remote NSW farm as part of the ACRE Project in late 2023. They’ll also perform from his much-loved catalogue of works, including his Big River, Little Stories record. Expect laughs, the odd tear, and Simon’s regular good-natured, entertaining banter. Follow the Robin, an indie/folk artist from Melbourne, will join as a support act.

Kelly’s Ride
Inspired by their aunt Kelly’s diagnosis, Ben and Rick Ramadge are riding their bikes from Lilydale to Cobram to raise funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia. They’ll be stopping in Kialla at the Peppermill Inn on Saturday for hours of fundraising, food and music.

If We Can’t See It, We Can’t Be It
Back for the second year, Brady Jones, better known as Bricky B, proudly presents, If We Can’t See It, We Can’t Be It, as part of the Shepparton Festival. The show will represent and showcase First Nations songs, dances, stories and culture. With the help of the Shepparton Festival team, Brady has programmed a line-up of artists who live on Yorta Yorta Country alongside invited guests.

Finish Line Festival — Melbourne to MOVE Rally
Celebrate community and motion as the Melbourne to MOVE rally arrives. Experience the final leg of vehicles, from classic collectables to vintage buses, crossing the finish line at MOVE, concluding the rally. Join the celebration that includes an impressive line-up of vehicles, live music and local treats, and explore and mingle with rally participants.

Annual Heritage Day
The Merrigum Historical Society is holding its Annual Heritage Day, featuring pioneering skills and crafts demonstrations. On the farm front, visitors can watch hay baling with a 1940s stationary baler, milk separation, butter churning and more. Vintage engines will be in action, and a wide range of exhibits and collectables will be displayed. Homemade baked goods will be available to purchase at the museum’s General Store, and a barbecue lunch will also be on offer.

The Big Sing
The Shepparton Festival Big Sing will unite voices from all over the Goulburn Valley, bringing together choirs and vocal groups showcasing their talent. Led by Erin Heycox, an experienced choir leader who has shared songs with audiences across Australia, the Big Sing will come together in a mass choir performance of shared repertoire, culminating in a song circle where singers and audience members will be invited to join in.

Colour Run, Roll and Stroll
This fun and vibrant colour run, roll and stroll is for all abilities, fitness levels and ages. There will be colour stations, music and games spread around the lake. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and meet at the playground near the skate park for a colourful afternoon.
