Rochester Historical and Pioneer Society members have a number of photos to which they are hoping to add more details.

Many of the photos have been left with the society but have few details on them, making identification difficult, which is where you, the reader, comes in.

Campaspe News is publishing some of the photos for members in the hope people in the community might be able to help with information.

This photo of a group of men does not have a date or photographer on the image.

The only detail written on the back is ‘middle-row-right-end George Mehrens’.

Rochester Historical and Pioneer Society is located at 96-98 High St, Rochester, and is open to visitors from 9am to noon on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The group is always looking for new volunteers. If interested, call in and speak to one of the members.
