While Azem cooked snags on the barbie outside to feed the masses at Wednesday night’s Under the Same Stars event, Shepparton artist Tank painted them inside.

Tank came to the event without a plan of what exactly to paint, but he knew exactly why he was painting it.
Once finished, the artwork will be silently auctioned with proceeds donated to the youth homelessness fundraiser, along with the tips collected in a jar by Tank’s side as he performed his live ‘street painting’.
He said it was inspired by the event and the cause as his artwork started forming on the canvas.
“I had this idea to paint a Bunnings sausage on the street to represent the iconic Aussie struggle of homelessness in the streets,” Tank said.
“I’ll probably do some kind of kettle and toaster streetscape in the background with lights over this discarded sausage in bread.”
