Lingering fog and chilly conditions resulted in a crowd about half that of the previuos walk attending.
But coordinator Robbie Landale said every cent counts, and that everyone who attended had a great time and gave generously.
“We had about 52 walkers, and each of them dug deep and donated more than the walk fee,” Mrs Landale said.
“We raised just over $1700 on the day, but importantly people can still donate.
“I encourage people to go to my personal Facebook page, and click on the donation link.
“I would like to thank everyone who assisted in organising and running the walk.
“Thanks also to Mokanger Butchers, Deniliquin Central IGA, Josh’s Bakehouse, Visattack and Party, Pack and Wrap for their donations and support.”
Mrs Landale said new ideas on how to raise awareness and funding for multiple sclerosis are being brainstormed.
