With the opening of the Edward River Veterinary Clinic at Deniliquin, the once mobile-only vet can now provide a full range of veterinary services.
Dr Munro and her husband Mitch Jukes established the privately, family-owned clinic at 88 Davidson St, in north Deniliquin.
A mixed practice clinic, they can cater for small animals including offering ultrasounds, X-rays and all in-house laboratory and pathology testing.
And with a large yard and an extra clinic space at the rear, horses and large animals can also be seen at the clinic.
“We have a horse crush and stables, and a large yard, so there’s space for larger animals in a secure area.
“We can also see farm animals at the clinic, provided they are secured in your trailer or float.
“As a mobile vet before the clinic was set up, I was unable to provide hospitalisation. Now we have the space, and isolation rooms to better service the community.
“We saw a massive need for additional veterinary services in town, so we invested to provide that service to Deniliquin and district.”
As well as veterinary treatments, the team at Edward River Veterinary Clinic can cater to your pet’s other needs, with a wide range of products in store and growing all the time.
It includes a growing range of prescription foods, to ensure the health of your best friend no matter their requirement.
Dr Munro said the response from the community to the new clinic has been positive since opening at the end of October, saying they have been “very busy” since day one.
Dr Munro has a double degree in veterinary biology and veterinary science, and can tend to domestic and farm animals of all sizes.
Mr Jukes is one of the practices two vet nurses, with the pair joined by Emily Whatman to care for your animals.
Rounding out the team is Marijana Vidak in accounts.
The Edward River Veterinary Clinic is open weekdays from 8.30am to 5pm, and the team offers competitive pricing. Afterpay is also available.
