Bargain hunters have been on the prowl lately, and before they can catch breath, Soroptimist International of Shepparton is giving them another opportunity to continue the hunt.
The Soroptimists held a successful sale of antiques and collectibles in late March, generously donated by local resident Gordon Collyer, raising over $4750 for local charities.
Next up is the Giant Charity Garage Sale, featuring leftover treasures that weren’t whisked away in the previous sale as well as plenty of new additions.
The sale will begin on Easter Tuesday, April 22, and run daily from 10am to 5pm until Saturday, May 3, at 7999 Goulburn Valley Hwy in Shepparton.
In preparation, community members are encouraged to spring-clean in autumn by rummaging through their garages, wardrobes and cupboards for items to donate.
Donations can be dropped off at the sale location from Tuesday, April 15.
All proceeds from this event will be reinvested into the community, supporting numerous worthy causes.
- Shepparton Soroptimists would like to thank Foott Waste and Frank and Mary Latorre from Shepparton Tile and Lighting Centre for their support during the antiques and collectibles sale.
