Nominations for Rochester’s Australia Day Awards close at 5pm on Friday, January 10.

Categories include Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Sports Person of the Year, Junior Sports Person of the Year, Community Group of the Year and Arts Person/Group of the Year.
Minor awards for appreciation and achievement recognition are also due at 5pm on Friday, January 10.
Nomination forms are available at the Community House, Rochester newsagency, Parson’s and Café Rochester.
Take the time to nominate someone or a group to recognise the work they have done in the community.
