The Loddon Mallee Rapid Response Testing Team, with staff from Bendigo Health, will offer the testing between 10am and 3pm.
REDHS chief executive Karen Laing is urging anyone with even the mildest of symptoms to present for testing on the day.
“COVID-19 symptoms include fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, cough and a loss of taste or smell,” she said.
“No matter how mild you feel your symptoms are, please come and get tested. You should also present for testing if you have any concerns about COVID-19.
“It is important that people continue to get tested at the first sign of symptoms and I urge anyone to please use this opportunity to get tested while the testing team is visiting locally.”
Tests results take approximately 48 to 72 hours to be returned. If you have symptoms, please remember to self-isolate after your test and remain isolated until you no longer have any symptoms.
The clinic will be held at REDHS, which is at 1 Pascoe St, Rochester, from 10am until 3pm.
Entry is via the urgent care centre at the rear of the facility.
