The successful students have been chosen by the schools, with certificates given out at respective presentation events.
Finance will be provided to assist with education expenses such as purchasing uniforms, excursions and other needs throughout the year.
Lexie Hines and Thomas Bain received their certificates at the Finley Public School presentation day last Tuesday.
Tysen Dougherty from St Joseph’s School received his at a function on Monday evening.
Eloise Harris and Remi Pyle received theirs at the Finley High School presentation yesterday, after the Southern Riverina News went to print.
The Finley RSL Sub-branch is pleased to be in a position to assist these students and hope the scholarships will remind them of the sacrifices made by those who have fought in conflict to give them the freedom to do their best.
