The awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals and community organisations in our region.
Award categories include Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year.
There’s also a Sports Award and Junior Sports Award, and Arts & Culture Award and Junior Arts & Culture Award.
Other categories are Community Event of the Year, Community Group of the Year and Environmental Citizen of the Year (the Bill & Elwyn Hermiston Memorial Award).

Celebrations will be hosted at the grand Deniliquin Town Hall, starting with the traditional community breakfast.
Following the ceremony, activities will move to the Deniliquin Waring Gardens where the Rotary Club of Deniliquin time capsule will be opened.
Buried in 2000, the contents from the capsule will be distributed to those involved.
After the time capsule is refurbished, new contributions will be buried later in the year for unearthing in 2050.
Envelopes for placing Deniliquin Pastoral Times, Peppin Heritage Centre, 1521/2QN Edge FM and from Rotarians in the Lions Kiosk in the Deniliquin CBD at various dates up until June 2025.
