IT DIDN'T last long, but the chance to get out on the court was important for the Rochester Netball Association.
The association's season is again on hold after all community sport was brought to a halt last week as stage three restrictions were implemented across regional Victoria.
But president Leah Cottam is looking at the positives.
“It was great to see smiling faces on our players,” she said.
“The good thing was all our participants who signed up earlier in the season decided to stay involved.
“We put a lot of hard work into getting the competition up and running so it is disappointing that we have had to stop.
“The committee will meet again in six weeks and hopefully restrictions are eased by then.
“It's very important we can get our kids back out on the court.”
