In its first year, the challenge proved a big hit with the under 12, 14 and 16 boys draws receiving plenty of interest from neighbouring associations.
An under 16 girls competition also ran, with Rochester and CVBA Stars fighting it out in a regular tournament game, before facing off again in the final.
Dominating the day though was the Tigers under 14 and under 16 teams. In the under 16 boys competition, Rochester finished on the top of the ladder after its five regular games.
Comfortably beating its opponents in the first four rounds, the Tigers biggest competition came in round five, where they narrowly outlasted Echuca Pirates by four points.
Facing off again in the grand final, the Tigers finished the tournament with a perfect record, beating the Pirates by six points.
It was a similar story in the under 14 competition, with Rochester walking away with a 4-0 record in the regular tournament games.
Beating their closest competitors Echuca by three points in round four, the Tigers improved further by the final, beating the Pirates by nine points to take home the silverware.
In other results, the under 12 grand final was taken out by Echuca, who proved too good for Mansfield (63-6) while Rochester claimed third position with a six-point win over Bendigo Braves in its play off game.
Meanwhile in the under 16 Girls, CVBA Stars beat Rochester by more than 20 points.
