The Saints won the toss and elected to bat first.
Saint Brady Bartlett top-scored with 33, followed closely by Bradley Loats, who made 28.
However, bowler Rory Bartlett was the only Saint to take any wickets.
Cobram’s batters stole the show, with Shaun Downie and Mitch Doyle unbeaten on 57 and 37, respectively.
Cobram bowlers Jimmy Daniel and Adam De Cicco were on form, taking three wickets each.
Meanwhile, at Deniliquin’s Memorial Park, home side Rhinos went down to Barooga by six wickets.
Rhinos won the toss and elected to bat, with Andrew Hogan making 45 runs in the middle order, while Evan Pocock scored an unbeaten 15.
As for the home side’s bowlers, half the wickets were taken by Pocock, with Prem Kumar, Reddy Muppidi and Dushan Rathwatte taking one wicket each.
Barooga’s Benjamin Beaumont made 87, while Jamie Stanyer ended on 21 not out.
Deniliquin wasn’t the only side to go down on its home turf, with Tocumwal coming out second best to Katamatite.
The Bloods were all out for 99, a total surpassed by the Tigers, who made 100 runs for the loss of two wickets.
Peter Harrison was the Bloods’ best batter with 22, while bowlers Liam Sutton and Reilly Rennick snared one wicket apiece.
Katty’s Tyler Green was the game’s top scorer, contributing an unbeaten 43.
Tigers bowlers Benjamin Beaton and Kepler Lukies each took three wickets.
At Finley Recreation Reserve, Nathalia wiped the floor with Finley, posting a staggering 5-284 before skittling the host for 66.
Round three will have the Bloods take on Cobram, Nathalia meets Katamatite, Berrigan takes on Barooga and Deniliquin Rhinos square off with Finley.
