Moyle will head to Brisbane with the rest of the 14-person squad in December, when she will have the chance to test herself against the best talent the rest of Australia has to offer.
“Our players have continued to expand and develop all facets of their game throughout an extensive emerging player program,” Cricket Victoria’s female talent development manager Andy Christie said.
“The level of performance from all players within the under-19 program has been exceptional. It’s a real credit to the effort they are putting in to continue their development.
“The national championships in Brisbane will provide a fantastic opportunity for players to showcase their skills, whilst coming together and representing Victoria Country and Metro with great pride.”
Moyle is no stranger to representative honours, having been a member of the Victoria Country side at the under-16 national championships earlier this year.
She showed no sign of being daunted by the big stage either, plundering an incredible century against Tasmania.
Coming to the crease in the 33rd over, Moyle blasted 100 not out off 66 deliveries, clearing the rope on six occasions for a maximum and crunching seven fours as she helped her side to a mammoth 4-411.
The teenager has been in fine form for Carlton in the Women’s Premier Cricket competition in Melbourne in recent times too, notching 39 not out and snaring 1-17 with the ball as her side beat Essendon Maribyrnong Park in the first round of one-day matches last weekend.
A strong season in the premier first XI beckons for Moyle, who enjoyed a terrific campaign with the Carlton premier seconds last season.
Making 244 runs at an average of 48.8, with four half-centuries from eight innings, Moyle then went on to play five one-day matches and four T20s with the first team, where she has continued her fine form to start this season.
Moyle also showcases her talent for Echuca in the Goulburn Murray Cricket competition, and it was at representative level for GMC that her breakthrough came in January 2022.
Padding up for the league during Junior Country Week, Moyle blasted a scintillating 124 not out in a destructive display against Bendigo, before making 104 for Northern Rivers against Barwon in the Female Youth Premier League.
Moyle will be in action for Victoria Country alongside Carlton teammates Sara Kennedy, Sara Burns and Charli McLennan from December 14 to 21.
