Josh Francis has continued his strong run of batting form for the Tigers, notching his second half-century of the season.

Both Shivam Goel and Tyler Oliver claimed figures of 3-35 off eight overs to give Elmore a 164-run chase for victory.

Apart from Elmore opener Matt Gilmour’s 48, no other Redbacks batsman scored over 20, which meant they were bowled all out for 116 in just under 35 overs.

Moama remains winless to start the season, this time falling to Colbinabbin in round four.

Moama captain Simon Porter tallied a defiant 47 at number six while first drop Matthew Watt provided a solid cameo of 26 for the Mowers, who finished their 40 overs at 9-152.

Colbinabbin co-captain Fletcher White produced figures of 3-22.

Meanwhile, Moama got off to hot start in the second innings, dismissing both openers for golden ducks before Colbinabbin’s number five and other captain Hamish Hooppell smashed a whirlwind 94 not-out off 42 balls, aided by Sam Ryan’s 41 to bury Moama.

Echuca has locked in a comfortable second place standing with a win over BLU.

The men in green rolled BLU for 84, with Shannon Bish’s 20 the only fighting scored produced by the Lions.

Harry Kennedy-Ripon starred for Echuca, claiming a bag of wickets at figures of 5-16 from seven overs.

Meanwhile, Echuca cruised to victory in 17 overs with Connor Shannon top-scoring on 47.
