The Lakers have been one of the form sides of the competition thus far and looked it against the Redbacks, running away to an 81-run win.
Nagambie won the toss and batted first, Kayla Shepherd and Amber Langham heading out in the middle to start the innings.
The pair looked to make a statement early with quick running between the wickets, notching five runs, three singles and a two, in the first four balls.
The Redbacks had success in the fifth over with Hope Irvine striking to remove Langham for 9, captain Grace Hammond reeling in the catch.
Shepherd linked up with Madison Albers and the two put together an impressive stand for the second wicket.
Albers punched the ball to all parts of the ground, making 23 without hitting a boundary in her 30 balls before retiring not out, while Shepherd notched four boundaries, also retiring on 31 runs.
Breanna Davison continued where her predecessors had left off, piercing the Redbacks’ ring on five occasions to reach the boundary, making 34 runs unbeaten.
She was joined by captain Kait Carracher, who added a brisk 16 before departing in the penultimate over, Irvine striking again for Kyabram.
All told Nagambie logged 2-128 from its 20 overs, an imposing total for the Redbacks to hunt down.
Irvine was by far the best of the Kyabram attack, bowling three overs, including two maidens, to snare 2-9.
She proved her quality again in the batting innings, attempting to start the Redbacks’ run chase on the right foot with a resilient 18 retired not out, hitting three boundaries.
While other batters down the order were able to replicate Irvine’s resilience, they weren’t able to match her scoring rate and the runs dried up through much of the remainder of the innings.
Six batters fell for two runs or fewer, and those that remained were striking below 30 as the Redbacks quickly ran out of time to make a realistic attempt at the total.
Grace Hammond (seven not out) and Micaela Herbert batted out the innings, but the Redbacks made only 6-47 in their 20 overs, the Lakers earning a big win.
Nagambie made use of 10 bowlers, five of them coming away with wickets in a strong team performance.
The Lakers hold onto their position in second place on the league table, while Kyabram remains on the bottom of the ladder on quotient.
The Redbacks will play Nagambie again this Sunday in a 35-over match.
