John Weeks skipped his quartet, which consisted of Tim Quinlan (lead), Allan Crilly (second) and Leslie Walles (third), to the biggest win of the day, defeating his Stanhope counterpart Barry Fletcher 25 shots to 13.
Kevin Hall also led his Rochester foursome to a strong victory in his rink, beating out the Geoffrey Mulcahy-led Stanhope 28-22, while Richard Feuk ensured it would be maximum points for the home side with a 22-18 win over the Gregory Fitzpatrick-skipped visitors.
In division two, Rochester fell to a strong Moama side, going down 2-47 to 14-67, with Graeme Chambers guiding his quartet to the only Rochy success, claiming his rink 22-16.
Division three saw Rochester comprehensively beaten 0-55 to 16-76 by Stanhope, while Lockington lost 2-56 to 14-60 against Deni RSL, and Elmore lost a tight contest 3-62 to 13-64.
Lockington secured a massive win in division four, smashing Tongala 16-103 to 0-30.
In division five, Rochester beat Lockington 13-50 to 1-36, while Elmore lost 0-30 to 14-61 against Echuca.
