Linda Harris kept her impeccable record intact, skipping Jim Jennings, Callan Glenn and Peter Wilson to a three-shot win, 20 to 17.
Mary-Anne Spizer, Jenny Tonta, Chris Frampton and Gaye Goodwin stormed home with 14 shots to three over the last six ends, only to fall just short - 20 to 22.

Division 3 had a great win away at Lockington, with a win, a draw and a one-shot loss on their three rinks.
Gary Hulm skipped brilliantly to lead his team of Wayne Bradley, Niels Hilton and his dad John Hulm to a decisive 15 shots win, 24-9, which ensured a comfortable overall win for the Diggers on the day.
John Wilson, Neville Austin, Paul Connor and Jacob Glenn were locked in a tight battle on their rink.
Down four with one end to play, they grabbed a great four to tie the match 20-all.
Ron Marchetti, Rod Reid, Craig Taylor and Ian Chessells were cruising, leading 11-0 after seven ends.
But Lockington fought back strongly to lead by a single shot after 17 ends, 17-14.
Both teams scored seven shots over the remaining four ends to see Lockington get home by the barest of margins, 24-23.

Division 5 completed the clean sweep for the club on the day with a tight three-shot win over Elmore on the RSL rinks.
Tim Dover, Miro Peterman, Jo Chick and Graeme Gordon could not hold out a fast-finishing Elmore, who went from four shots down (11-15_ with three ends to play, to tie the match up at 15-all.
Lindsay Dalzell, Archie Webster, Sandra Hill and Glenys Chessells proved to be the saviours, hanging on for a three-shot victory, 21-18, to ensure an overall victory for the home side.

This Thursday will see the final day of bowls at the club for 2024 with a special Christmas themed social bowls event.
Names are to be in by 12.30pm.
There will be lots of fun and Chrissy frivolity to finish the year.
